Trustee vacancies
Families Out Loud (FOL) supports families of addicts in Wiltshire, through one-to-one counselling and support group meetings. In April 2020, all FOL services were moved online and, as a result, our client base has grown. The social impact of Covid-19 is particularly difficult for addicts, which also directly affects their families. As such, the number of people in Wiltshire who need our help is growing, and it is time to expand our team.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the day-to-day running of the charity, as well as medium and long-term planning to ensure the charity’s viability and financial security. We are now recruiting two additional trustees to assist mainly in the areas of fundraising and website publications. Applicants will have an interest in how families are affected by addiction, and strategies that family members can use to protect themselves. However, applicants do not need to have had personal experience of such matters.
